We are looking for LGV/HGV C+E Class 1 Drivers on a Permanent and Full Time basis at our Tilbury depot

Shift:

• 4ON 4OFF Shift - £35,499.30 basic per annum - 15:00pm-18:00pm & 18:00pm-21:00pm start window.
• 5ON 3OFF Shift - £44,252.37 basic per annum - 15:00pm-18:00pm & 18:00pm-21:00pm start window.

Salary:

• Basic salary of £35,499.30 - £44,252.37 basic per annum depending on shift pattern plus the extra incentives and overtime rates as below.

OTE up to £52,680 (shift premiums & incentives)

• Shift premiums
  • £10 per shift (starts 12:00–19:59)
  • £15 per shift (starts 20:00–03:59)
• Weekend premiums
  • £1,030/year for Saturdays or Sundays
  • £2,060/year for both

Extra incentives:

• Compensation paid after 11 hours
• Night out allowance
• Overtime available for extra shifts

Overtime (working an extra shift outside of your agreed shift pattern)

• Monday to Friday - £18.50 per hour.
• Saturday - £21.99 per hour.
• Sunday - £25.32 per hour.

You’ll be driving modern vehicles, delivering for some of the UK’s best‑known brands:

• Delivering palletised goods to regional RDCs
• Collecting palletised stock from local and regional suppliers
• Regular trunking between Culina group sites
• Minimal handball
• Occasional nights out

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months driving experience required.
• Possession of LGV Class 1 Licence, CPC and Tacho Card.
• Knowledge of Road Transport Directive and current drivers’ hours.
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
• Effectively prioritise workload in order to meet set deadline
