Our Client

As a leading brokerage, our client has a strong focus on client service and is a firm believer it is how a brokerage responds to claims that delivers values for their clients and drives retention. Due to a resignation, they are now seeking to appoint a Claims Manager to lead experienced claims examiners in a high volume claims environment
.

• 
  This role will be responsible for leading a diverse team of claims examiners in the high-speed Claim’s unit, including managing team performance, recruitment, coaching and mentoring for growth and development.
• 
  Driving best practice claims handling performance both in terms of optimal claims outcomes and customer service.
• 
  Creating Service Differentiation and market leading service delivery.
• 
  Managing a portfolio of diverse claims.​

• 
  Demonstrated experience managing a team of high volume, low value claims
• 
  Understanding and relationship building with partners and within our core intermediated market
• 
  Ability to lead others and manage a team of claims examiners
• 
  Experience in dealing with a broad range of products, including property, liability and financial lines.
• 
  Ability in the interpretation and application of policy wordings
• 
  Experience with claim negotiations, complaint resolution and interpersonal flexibility is a necessity.
• 
  Experience in reporting and metrics to ensure service delivery
• 
  Experience with claims transformation projects and continuous improvement initiatives preferred
• 
  Experience and confidence with process and procedural documentation, review, and revising as required.
• 
  Leadership Skills
• 
  People and team management experience, including the proven ability to effectively manage team members.
• 
  Ability to positively influence, in a multi-cultural environment and with stakeholders at every level both internally & externally.
• 
  Highly effective communicator (written, verbal, presentation, training).
