This role is responsible for managing incoming communications, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely processing of claims-related documentation. The Claims Support Associate will work as a part of a close-knit team to description
Key Responsibilities: • Monitor, track, and report on all incoming faxes to the Claims Department.• Monitor, track, and report on all incoming emails to the Claims inbox.• Manage physical mail received at the office and PO Box, including:• Logging receipt of mail• Scanning and forwarding to appropriate team members• Maintaining records for volume tracking and reporting• Answer incoming phone calls to the Claims team, document inquiries, and escalate or route cases to the Claims Manager for assignment.• Ensure all communications (fax, email, mail) are processed daily and meet established turnaround time targets •Assist with departmental projects, including document creation, tracking tools, and operational support.• Maintain accurate logs and reports to support volume tracking and performance metrics.• Support the Claims Manager and Examiners with administrative tasks as needed.• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and internal compliance standards.• Perform other duties and additional responsibilities as assigned.
