Our Kingsville Head Office Location is currently seeking a Claims Specialistto join our Finance team. The Claims Specialist is responsible for leading activities related to financial reporting and monitoring financial activities with the sales team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with Sales and Accounts Receivable to efficiently process PAS returns and resolve discrepancies
• Create, manage, and resolve carrier daims, ensuing timely collection of outstanding balances Ihrough direct payments or freight
• Process rejections, PAS sales and overages, ensuring accurate invoices, credit issuance. and tracking.
• Collect, and utilize data to identify opportunities to support Sales functions.
• Issue Purchase Credit Memos company-wide to resolve PO receiving discrepancies for produce and ensuring alignment between purchase orders and vendor documentation.
• Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency between Accounts Receivable and
• Investigate and recover elastomer-impased fines by coordinating deductions with carriers and
• Compile, anaiyze and distribute summary information reiated to KPI*s.
• Generate and distribute weekly and monthly reports to Sales Team, ensuring timely follow-up and
• Identify processes to improve cash
• Research new processes and develop standard operating procedures for claims department and work with all departments to establish best
• Support special projects and perform other related duties as

Education/Background Requirements:

• College degree required.
• At least 2 years of related work experience required.

Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in produce accounting department preferred.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Aptitude for learning new software programs required.
• Company confidentiality agreement will be required.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work independently, with minimal supervision and take ownership of job.
• Willingness to work with a high degree of professionalism and personal integrity.

Salary range is $50k/yr-$55k/yr CAD
