We are seeking a Claims Administrator to support the smooth processing and administration of insurance claims. This role focuses on accurately capturing and maintaining claims information, reviewing supporting documentation, coordinating with internal teams and customers, and ensuring claims files are updated in a timely and compliant manner. The Claims Solutions Administrator is responsible for the daily management of the general mailbox.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to, appointing adjusters/assessors, uploading
documents to M-files, preparation of coverage letters and managing responses to OFSO complaints.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Claims Mail box Management
Acknowledging receipt/respond of all external emails within SOP
Forward email queries to Claims Handler and ensure response is provided within SOP
Uploading new claims to M-files
Review new claims and advise Producer/Client of all outstanding documents
Assigning adjuster/investigator on new claims
Uploading new adjuster/investigation/police reports to M-Files
To perform any other job-related duties as assigned by the Coordinator /Team Leader/Manager
2. Customer Relationship Management
Encourage customer to provide feedback on claim service
Answering calls within company standards
Deliver Red Carpet Customer Service
3. Office of the Financial Services Ombudsman(OFSO)Complaint Management
Logging & updating complaints on the OFSO listing
Forward complaint to Claims Handler copying relevant uplines
Ensuring Handler response to OFSO before deadline date
Forward OFSO updates to Compliance unit by first working day of each month
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
5 CXC/ CSEC passes including Mathematics
and English Language
CII Certificate Level
Minimum of one (1)year Customer Service experience and/or
One (1) to two(2) years General Insurance experience with at least two (1) of those years in the Motor Claims Department.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENT:
As a regulated entity with obligations under the Know Your Employee guidelines, a Certificate of Character is required.
