A key member of the Claims team responsible for supporting with claims administration including but not limited to ongoing file maintenance and general administrative tasks.
This role is integral to the quality and service standards which ensure the functions are meeting TAL’s Customer and Claims requirements.
The Claims Support Officer will provide administrative support to Claims Consultants and Team Managers as well as supporting the overall claims process, as well as:
• Ensure compliance with TAL policies, procedures and guidelines procedures, ensuring claims management is in accordance with the TAL claims philosophy
• Adhere to external regulations (eg. Privacy and Life Insurance Code of Practice) and all relevant legislation and industry guidelines
• Ensure all interactions with Customers, Advisers and other internal and external stakeholders adhere to TAL’s Customer Service Culture through the provision of high-quality, accurate and compliant work
• Manage calls with customers and advisers where required
• Contribute towards a culture of process improvement
• Contribute to department and company projects as required.
• Other ad-hoc duties as required
• Experience within a similar position ideally from within the financial services industry.
• Demonstrated data entry accuracy
• Commitment to ongoing development of self and others
