Job Description

Main responsibilities

• Process, review, and approve hospitalization requests for group and individual health insurance policies in accordance with policy terms.
• Assess medical documentation, benefits, limits, and eligibility to ensure accurate authorization decisions.
• Liaise with hospitals, providers, brokers, and insured members to support timely and accurate hospitalization approvals.
• Ensure compliance with internal procedures, medical guidelines, and contractual obligations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in health insurance claims processing or hospitalization approvals.
• Strong understanding of health insurance policies, benefits, and hospitalization workflows.
• Fluency in Greek and English, written and spoken.
• Very good knowledge of MS Office and claims or authorization systems.
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a structured working approach.
• Ability to make accurate and timely decisions under pressure.
• Familiarity with AI tools (GenAI, MS CoPilot etc), data analysis oriented
