Claims Officer, Worker Services

• Full-time, fixed-term role until 16/10/2026 | 7.25 hr days Monday-Friday
• Role based in Woonona, Singleton or Speers Point with onsite parking
• Hybrid working available after training period

About the role:

Coal Services is looking for a Claims Offices to support Worker Services team on full-time, fixed-term contracts until 16/10/2026.

As a Claims Officer with Coal Mines Insurance (CMI), you will be responsible for the efficient and effective management of claims-related administration and customer-service activities.

Your main responsibilities will include:
• Accurate and timely payment of accounts
• Registration of claims and early notifications
• Efficient management of customer claims administration, mail, phone enquiries and file management
• Ability to meet KPI targets in a timely manner
• Active participation in ongoing projects under management

About you:

Your education, experience and skills will include:
• Business Administration Certificate (essential)
• Strong computer skills especially with Adobe and Microsoft Office
• Team player with a focus on customer service excellence
• Professional phone manner with clear verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to learning
• Organisational skills and ability to prioritise
