This position will be based in our offices:

Responsibilities

The Claims Correspondence Analyst will serve as a first point of contact for inquiries related to claims. This role is responsible for handling Explanation of Reimbursement (EOR) requests, claim status inquiries, general claim-related questions, and prescreening information received for initial claim file setups. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

We'll count on you to:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to incoming requests regarding: EOR requests, claim status requests/updates and general claim questions from Account Management, Sales, Brokers, Policyholders and Third-Party Administrators
  • Review and prescreen information received for initial claim file setups
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and updates in the claims system and/or shared drive
  • Ensure compliance and company policies, regulatory requirements and confidentiality standards by ensuring that all external communications that contain PHI/PII are sent securely.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by delivering clear, concise and professional communication
  • Complete all assigned requests within a 48 to 72-hour handling timeframe
  • Projects and other work as assigned

Qualifications

What you need to have:

  • High school diploma
  • Prior experience in claims processing, healthcare administration or customer service strongly preferred

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite software

  • Customer-focused mindset

  • Problem-solving and critical thinking

  • Time management and multitasking

  • Adaptability in a dynamic environment

The actual salary for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
