Job Category: AdministrativeJuniper is Growing! We are seeking a Claims Coordinator for our Centralized Claims Department. The Claims Coordinator supports the claims management process by assisting with the intake, documentation, tracking, and follow up of workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability claims. This role gathers and maintains claim documentation, coordinates with internal teams, insurance carriers, and Safety Managers, and monitors claim activity to support timely progression and resolution. The Claims Coordinator ensures accurate data entry, maintains confidentiality, escalates issues as needed, and provides administrative support to Claims Managers while adhering to all safety, compliance, and company requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Supports Claims Managers with the intake, documentation, and tracking of workers’ compensation, auto, and general liability claims.
- Gathers, organizes, and maintains claim related documentation including incident reports, statements, photos, medical records, and correspondence.
- Assists with claim setup by ensuring required information is complete, accurate, and submitted timely to insurance carriers and third party administrators.
- Monitors claim activity and follows up on outstanding items, documentation requests, and status updates to support timely claim progression.
- Communicates with internal teams, vendors, and insurance representatives to obtain claim related information and route inquiries appropriately.
- Coordinates with Safety Managers to collect investigation materials, corrective action documentation, and incident follow up information as needed.
- Tracks claim status, key dates, and required actions within claims management systems and internal tracking tools.
- Prepares routine claim summaries, reports, and data updates for review by Claims Managers and leadership.
- Identifies delays, missing information, or potential issues within claims and escalates concerns to Claims Managers for review and direction.
- Maintains confidentiality and compliance with all company policies, regulatory requirements, and privacy standards related to claims information.
- Assists with administrative support tasks related to claims management including correspondence, record maintenance, and audit preparation.
- Follow, promote, and enforce all labor laws, safety policies, practices, and procedures to ensure safe working conditions and behaviors are maintained. Assist with safety investigations and safety hazards and/or incidents.

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum one year of administrative, claims support, risk management or insurance related experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of workers’ compensation, auto, or general liability claims processes preferred.
- Ability to gather, organize, and maintain detailed documentation with a high level of accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and follow up activities simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively share information across teams and stakeholders.
- Proficient in computer and technology skills including working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe and mobile devices.
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
