Job Description

The position provides administrative and clerical support for the MSO Teams.

Schedule

  • MONDAY–FRIDAY | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • NO OBSERVED HOLIDAYS
  • NO WEEKENDS
  • ON-SITE POSITION (NOT REMOTE)

Job Essentials

  • Open and sort mail from the US postal service and upload electronic images for task assignment.
  • Scan and task refund checks and monitor tracking spreadsheet.
  • Scan and upload claims and correspondence received.
  • Print and prepare letters and misdirected documents for mailing.
  • Create letters and tasks for medical review.
  • Assist Examiners with special handling of claims.
  • Respond to and resolve administrative inquiries and questions.
  • Projects as assigned to support teams.
  • Customer service calls and less complex claims processing.
  • Maintains the minimum accuracy standard and follows up timely to meet compliance standards.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability to perform multiple tasks with accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated focus on positive customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year experience in a clerical capacity.
  • One year in a customer focused setting.
  • Experience working in a healthcare setting.

Physical Requirements

  • Ongoing need for employee to see and read information, labels, documents, monitors, identify equipment and supplies, and be able to assess customer needs.
  • Frequent interactions with providers, colleagues, customers, patients/clients and visitors that require employee to verbally communicate as well as hear and understand spoken information, needs, and issues quickly and accurately.
  • Manual dexterity of hands and fingers to manipulate complex and delicate supplies and equipment with precision and accuracy. This includes frequent computer use for typing, accessing needed information, etc.
  • For roles requiring driving: Expected to drive a vehicle which requires sitting, seeing and reading signs, traffic signals, and other vehicles.

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.

$18.85 - $25.61
