Job Description

Alliance Ground International is seeking an experienced Claims Analyst to help us with all things Claims related (Workers Comp and Cargo Claims) The Claims Analyst will direct and oversee the company’s post-lost policies and procedures and ensure the compliance and continuous improvement of the program.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provides leadership, development and mentoring of the Station Management, staff, and administrators by creating a training and awareness programs that are driven by strategic objectives, service excellence and the company's goals.
  • Responsible for directing the planning, design, development, implementation and evaluation of policies and procedures that assure accurate, timely claims processing and provider inquiries (written or verbal).
  • Direct liaisons and assists in managing vendors pertaining to Claims processes.
  • Generates data in order to track and report on results compared to operational and service level goals and other trends as required.
  • Analyzes, tracks and trends claims data in order to provide analysis of data / results along with action steps to ensure operational efficiencies are maintained.
  • Generates standard reports for the functional area and tracks all employee performance for high volume transaction area.
  • Oversees day to day claims metrics and Claims to Work performance.
  • Conducts auditing on claim adjudication activities.
  • Evaluates adjusted claims against original claim processing activities to identify processing errors undetected during initial processing.
  • Provides input into claims materials and their revisions to ensure quality outcomes during adjudication.
  • Conducts adjudicator audits of processed claims against guidelines, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of five (5) years of relevant professional experience, and the following:
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Extensive knowledge of claims policies and procedure.
  • Experience in developing and tracking performance metrics.
  • Experience with managing US & International Claims.
  • Experience in training company management in claims reporting, incident investigation, and claims reduction strategy.
  • Experience in managing claims within aviation logistic or equivalent high-risk industry.
  • Experience with implementing loss reduction strategies and writing loss reduction programs.
