About this Role – Claims Administrator

We are looking for a talented Claims Administrator that has a passion for quality construction. This position is responsible forproviding strategic oversight of all claims operations, including property, workers' compensation, auto, and third-party liability. Ensuring efficient resolution, financial stewardship, and risk mitigation across the organization.

What You’ll Do

-Management of events involving workers' compensation, auto, liability, and property damage, inclusive of routing, administration, recordkeeping, and data entry

-Prepare correspondence presentations and reports for management and key customers

-Tracking and trending of claims events and related claims costs

-Analyze and revise claim data as new information becomes available

-Assist in the continuous improvement of the claims reporting procedures

-Collaborate with third-party administrators to analyze claims and determine the extent of the company's liability while continuously working to resolve

-Review billing and process claims correctly, including third-party subrogation

-Assess claims documentation and determine its validity

-Investigate claims thoroughly, ensuring all necessary information is gathered

-Communicate with claimants, witnesses, and other relevant parties to gather additional information

-Document claims activities and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations

-Assess expenses, reserves, and settle claims with authorized limits

-Coordinate with claimants to resolve issues

-Assist with department trends and statistical information

-Work extensively with claims management software, Origami, Claims Management System, Risktrac

-Required to address after-hours issues and handle incidents as necessary

-Strong computer skills with excellent attention to detail

-Ability to anticipate and meet the needs of internal/external customers and work independently to meet deadlines

-Strong understanding of administrative best practices and a focus on continuous improvement

-Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

-Ability to engage and consult with all levels of management to establish working relationships and partnerships

-Prior claims management experience preferred

-Employee must be able to function in a team environment while always working for the greater good of the company

-Ability to analyze complex information and formulate sound decisions

-Excellent evaluation, strategic skills, and claim negotiation with a focus on strong conflict resolution
