Now Hiring: Forensic Civil/Structural Engineer | Indianapolis, IN

Are you an experienced Civil/Structural Engineer ready to take your career in an exciting and impactful direction? We are seeking a skilled professional to join our Indianapolis team and provide expert forensic consulting services for insurance, legal, and industrial clients throughout the region.

About the Opportunity

In this role, you will investigate and assess the cause, origin, and extent of structural failures, building envelope damage, and construction defects. You will document your findings in detailed reports, provide expert testimony in litigation matters, and manage multiple projects while cultivating strong, lasting client relationships.

What You'll Do

• Investigate residential, commercial, and industrial properties to resolve claims and legal matters
• Conduct field investigations, gather photographic evidence, and oversee field testing
• Review construction drawings, contracts, specifications, and historical documentation
• Prepare detailed reports on causes of failure, extent of loss, and remediation recommendations
• Provide expert opinions and testimony in litigation matters
• Manage multiple projects and collaborate with other industry experts
• Develop and maintain strong, mutually beneficial client relationships

What You'll Need

• B.S. in Civil Engineering or higher
• PE license required in the state of employment (or ability to obtain quickly)
• 5+ years of civil/structural engineering experience
• Project management and/or field investigation experience preferred
• Additional licenses or certifications may be required depending on location
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and engineering/design software
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally and regionally (up to 50%)
