The Civil/Structural Engineering Expert will serve as the primary interface and coordinator for all civil/structural engineering aspects of design harmonization. This expert ensures that plant structures meet Polish seismic, geotechnical, and building code requirements while aligning with the original U.S.-based nuclear design.
The Civil Engineering Expert will work within the Project Management Team reporting directly to deputy PD.
Collaborate with engineering partners and subcontractors to validate and adapt U.S.-based civil and structural designs to Polish Civil Construction Law requirements.
Review and support development of structural calculations, analysis models, and compliance documents.
Support derogation documentation related to structural design elements prepared by local Design Houses.
Maintain alignment with EU structural engineering norms and IAEA siting standards.
Expected interface with local design partner, customer and, regulatory authorities and in-country authorities on building permits and licensing issues.
Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
Civil Construction Licence for design and construction (uprawnienia budowlane, projektowe)
Minimum 10 years of structural design or engineering oversight experience.
Familiarity with Polish Civil Construction Law, seismic/building codes, and EN Eurocode series.
Experience with active execution of at least one large power or industrial project in Poland during last 10 years
Fluent Polish and English
Nuclear experience would be additional advantage
We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be 21,250 to 26,533 PLN gross per month. In addition to the base pay, this role may be eligible for incentive pay based on company and individual performance.
