Introduction
Our client is seeking a Civil Foreman for an exciting recreational infrastructure project in Tallaght, Dublin This role will involve overseeing civil works on a development that will enhance local community facilities and outdoor recreational spaces. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in civil construction, the ability to manage teams on site, and a proactive approach to delivering projects safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
• Oversee day to day civil works on the recreational infrastructure development
• Manage site crews and subcontractors to ensure efficient and safe project execution
• Coordinate construction activities including drainage, foundations, pathways, and infrastructure works
• Work closely with Site Engineers and Project Managers to ensure project milestones are achieved
• Ensure all works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and quality standards
• Maintain strong health and safety standards across the site
• Plan and organise labour, plant, and materials required for daily site operations
• Monitor progress and provide updates to senior management on site performance
• Resolve technical and operational issues quickly to maintain productivity
Requirements
• Previous experience working as a Civil Foreman on civil engineering or infrastructure projects
• Strong experience supervising site teams and subcontractors
• Good understanding of civil construction techniques and groundworks
• Ability to read construction drawings and coordinate work accordingly
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Strong commitment to health and safety on construction sites
