INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Civil Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team, responsible for execution, inspection, measurement, and documentation of civil works supporting instrumentation, ICSS, and facility installations. Ensures work is completed safely and in accordance with approved drawings, methods, specifications, and quality requirements.



Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the civil construction works in accordance with approved drawings and method statements.
• Support setting-out, measurements, levels, and site verification.
• Perform and monitor concrete, rebar, formwork, foundations, and equipment bases.
• Execute trenching, supports, drainage, and related civil works.
• Verify dimensions, quantities, materials, workmanship, and installation quality.
• Support civil works for instrumentation, ICSS, equipment, cable routes, and site modifications.
• Conduct site inspections and identify defects, deviations, and incomplete works.
• Coordinate with Civil Engineer, Instrumentation, ICSS, Electrical, Mechanical, Operations, and contractors.
• Maintain inspection records, measurements, quantities, checklists, and as-built information.
• Support punch-list clearance, testing, reinstatement, and final acceptance.
• Maintain proper tools, equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Comply with Company/client requirements, approved procedures, PTW, HSE, and quality standards.

Requirements

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must Have:

• Technical Diploma, ITI, or relevant trade certificate; task-specific competency certification where required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Oil & Gas or comparable industrial facilities, including at least 3 years as a Civil Technician.
• Hands-on experience in concrete, rebar, formwork, foundations, trenching, supports, and drainage.
• Competent in setting out, measurements, levels, quantities, and site verification.
• Ability to read and work from approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Experience with civil inspections, workmanship verification, and construction records.
• Familiarity with civil works supporting instrumentation, ICSS, equipment, and brownfield modifications.
• Good coordination with Engineering, Construction, Instrumentation, ICSS, Operations, HSE, and contractors.
• Good reporting, measurement, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of PTW, HSE, quality, and site safety requirements.
