We are seeking a Civil Team Leader to lead and grow our NSW capability. This role combines people leadership, business development and hands-on project delivery across complex projects including defence, health, government, mission critical and industrial developments.

You will play a key role in developing team capability, strengthening client relationships, and driving sustainable growth, while remaining actively involved in delivering high-quality engineering outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing civil team, driving engagement, capability uplift and alignment with ACOR’s national standards and culture
  • Drive business development by building strong client relationships and securing new project opportunities across target sectors
  • Lead and contribute to the delivery of complex, multi-disciplinary civil projects, ensuring high-quality, compliant and commercially successful outcomes
  • Oversee project performance, resourcing and risk management, supporting strong commercial outcomes across the project portfolio
  • Support the growth of NSW capability through strategic input, team planning and continuous improvement of systems, processes and delivery practices

Requirements

  • Degree qualified Civil Engineer with CPEng (or working towards) and demonstrated experience delivering complex projects from concept through to delivery
  • Proven experience in leading and developing teams, including coaching, performance management and building high-performing cultures
  • Strong business development capability, with a track record of building client relationships and winning work
  • Strong technical expertise in civil engineering design and project delivery, including multi-disciplinary project exposure
  • Commercial acumen with a strong understanding of project performance, utilisation and financial outcomes
