Job Title – Civil Site Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Civil Site Engineer to oversee the execution of civil construction activities and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordinating site operations, supervising contractors, resolving technical issues, and ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Site Execution & Supervision

• 
  Supervise day-to-day civil construction activities and ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
• 
  Monitor site progress and ensure project milestones are achieved within established timelines.
• 
  Coordinate site activities with contractors, subcontractors, and project teams.
• 
  Resolve technical issues and provide engineering support during construction.

Construction Planning & Coordination

• 
  Coordinate with project managers, architects, structural engineers, and MEP teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• 
  Assist in planning construction activities and resource allocation.
• 
  Review work schedules and ensure proper sequencing of construction activities.
• 
  Support procurement by verifying material requirements and delivery schedules.

Quality Assurance & Compliance

• 
  Conduct site inspections to ensure workmanship complies with project quality standards.
• 
  Verify materials and construction methods meet approved specifications.
• 
  Coordinate inspections with consultants and quality assurance teams.
• 
  Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and project requirements.

Project Monitoring & Reporting

• 
  Track construction progress and prepare daily, weekly, and monthly site reports.
• 
  Monitor productivity, material consumption, and resource utilization.
• 
  Report project risks, delays, and technical issues to project management.
• 
  Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and completed works.

Contractor & Stakeholder Management

• 
  Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders.
• 
  Attend site coordination meetings and provide technical updates.
• 
  Ensure contractor performance aligns with project objectives and contractual requirements.
• 
  Support project managers in achieving project delivery goals.

Health, Safety & Environmental Compliance

• 
  Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on-site.
• 
  Conduct regular site safety inspections and participate in toolbox talks.
• 
  Identify site hazards and implement appropriate corrective actions.
• 
  Promote a strong culture of workplace safety and compliance.

Qualifications & Experience

• 
  Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 
  4–8 years of experience in civil construction, site engineering, or project execution within residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• 
  Experience working on UAE construction projects is highly preferred.
• 
  Strong understanding of construction methodologies, project execution, and site coordination.
