You will become part of the Civil Department responsible for the design and construction of our new lines or upgrading the existing lines through large scale projects. We are a team of 15 engineers, project managers representing 7 different nationalities across 3 locations in Denmark, Poland and USA. We have expertise in structural and civil engineering, mechanical engineering and electrical engineering, as well as project management.
We are looking for a Civil Project Coordinator who will support coordinating and managing civil design and construction activities in relation to the new investment projects in Rockwool Group. It is his or her responsibility to represent Rockwool Group Technology in close coordination with multiple stakeholders and teams in Denmark as well as abroad. Analytical thinking, solid construction experience, and excellent data skills will be essential for the Civil Project Coordinator role described.
Supporting design and construction management activities
Have overview for all construction project scope related quality, budget, time schedule, certification, approvals, and health & safety checks
Managing Bill of Quantities and Unit prices in construction projects
Responsible for efficient budget follow-up in relation to design and construction activities
Responsible for reviewing technical aspects of change orders and report to Civil Project Manager discrepancies between contract and change orders
Help prepare design specifications and tender documents
Support documentation from design input to Consultant to Contractor construction handover
Clear communication to core team and stakeholders
Open to travel, approx. 20-30 days a year.
Be proactive in all the responsibilities described above
You hold a bachelor’s degree in civil or equivalent
Master’s degree in civil engineering and/or project management is preferred
Quantity surveying and budgeting experience in construction projects (3+ years)
Industrial or international project experience is preferred
Familiarity with Prince 2 is an asset
Written and spoken English Language to a high professional business level is a must
Driver’s license
