Thread Recruitment is proud to partner with AGS Civil Group, a well-established civil contractor delivering subdivisions, roadworks, infrastructure and civil construction projects across Southeast Queensland.

With a strong pipeline of work ahead, AGS Civil is looking for experienced operators to join their team across three key roles:

Combo Operator – Posi Track / Excavator / HR-HC Truck

We're looking for a versatile operator who is comfortable jumping between machines and helping wherever the job needs you.

You'll ideally bring:

• Strong experience operating Posi Track/skid steer and excavators

• Experience across general civil works, earthworks and site preparation

• HR or HC licence and confidence operating trucks when required

• Relevant plant tickets/competencies

• The ability to work safely and productively without needing constant direction

This role will suit someone who likes variety and is happy being the person who can turn their hand to more than one thing on site.

Excavator Operator – GPS & Final Trim

We're looking for an experienced excavator operator who can work accurately and confidently across civil construction projects.

You'll need:

• Strong excavator operating experience within civil construction

• Demonstrated GPS machine control experience

• Proven final trim capability

• Experience working to levels, plans and site specifications

• A strong understanding of civil earthworks and site requirements

• Relevant plant tickets/competencies

We're particularly interested in operators who understand the difference between simply operating a machine and producing a clean, accurate finish.

HC Truck Operator

We're also looking for an experienced HC Truck Operator to support AGS Civil's projects across Southeast Queensland.

You'll bring:

• Current HC licence

• Previous experience driving within civil construction, earthworks or a similar environment

• Confidence working around active construction sites and heavy machinery

• A good understanding of load safety and vehicle requirements

• Willingness to work with the wider crew when needed

• A reliable, safety-conscious approach to your work
