About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Paralegal to join a well-established legal team in West Palm Beach. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting attorneys in all aspects of civil litigation.
Key Responsibilities
Draft, review, and prepare pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents
Manage case files, organize exhibits, and maintain document databases for ongoing matters
Coordinate depositions, mediations, hearings, and trial preparation
Conduct legal research and gather relevant case law, statutes, and regulations
Monitor court deadlines, maintain calendars, and ensure timely filings in state and federal courts
Communicate with clients, experts, opposing counsel, and court personnel as needed
Assist attorneys with trial preparation including witness lists, trial exhibits, and trial binders
Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal with a focus on civil litigation
Strong understanding of Florida civil procedure and e-filing requirements
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and litigation support software
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines
Education & Certification
Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred
Notary Public in Florida is a plus
