The Civil Interface Engineer plays a key role in coordinating and managing interfaces between civil contractors and Siemens' rail systems scope during the design and construction phases of complex railway turnkey projects. Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you will help ensure the successful integration of railway systems across stations, wayside infrastructure, and depot facilities.

You will:

  • Support the coordination of interfaces between civil contractors and the Siemens rail systems scope throughout project delivery
  • Coordinate and document interface requirements, ensuring effective communication between engineering teams, consortium partners, contractors, architects, and consultants
  • Participate in technical coordination activities and assist in resolving interface issues during design, engineering, and construction phases
  • Support the review and management of design changes, field modifications, RFIs, NCRs, and technical documentation related to civil works interfaces
  • Contribute to interface reporting activities, including the tracking of actions, risks, opportunities, and mitigation measures
  • Assist in the harmonisation of interface solutions across multiple contractors to drive consistency and minimise project-specific deviations
  • Support the assessment of contract changes and project variations impacting civil and system integration interfaces

Your qualifications and skills to create a better tomorrow

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related engineering discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of experience delivering railway transportation or major infrastructure projects, including exposure to both design and construction phases
  • Understanding of interface management principles, engineering coordination processes, and contract requirements within complex projects
  • Knowledge of railway systems, track infrastructure, and multidisciplinary project delivery will be highly regarded
  • Ability to evaluate engineering designs and technical solutions associated with railway civil infrastructure and systems integration
  • Strong stakeholder engagement, communication, and coordination skills across multidisciplinary project teams
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving capabilities, with a structured approach to managing technical issues
  • Professional proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as required by project needs
