We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Inspector to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction and ensuring compliance with project specifications and industry standards. This individual will have extensive experience in sewerage treatment plant, pumping stations, and pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and industry standards
- Monitor and report on progress and quality of work being performed by contractors
- Review and approve construction materials and equipment
- Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve any issues or discrepancies
- Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports and documentation
- Conduct quality control tests and inspections on materials and workmanship
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations on site
- Identify and report any potential delays or issues that may impact project timeline or budget
- Attend project meetings and provide technical input as needed
- Provide guidance and support to junior inspectors and other team members
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in sewerage treatment plant, pumping stations, and pipelines
- Proven track record of successfully completing similar projects in the Middle East
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment
- Excellent understanding of industry standards and regulations
- Experience with quality control testing and inspections
- Proficient in using construction management software and tools
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
