We’re looking for an experienced Civil Grader Operator to join our Construction Division based in Hamilton. This is a hands-on role where your skills will help deliver good work across a range of civil and roading projects.

You’ll be trusted to operate with precision, work closely with the wider crew, and help deliver high quality outcomes safely and efficiently. Ngā tino kawenga mahi | Key role responsibilities

  • Operate a grader to shape, level, and maintain roads, shoulders, drainage ditches and finished road surfaces.
  • Carry out routine road maintenance, including pothole repairs and erosion control work.
  • Complete area-wide pavement treatments, overlays and final trim work to a high standard.
  • Support subdivision pavement works and wider civil construction activities.
  • Help deliver projects to plan, while maintaining strong safety, quality and performance standards.

Kei te kimi mātou i tētahi e whai ana i ēnei pūkenga | We’re looking for someone with

  • At least 2 years’ proven grader operating experience in civil and road construction.
  • A Full Class 2 licence and WTR endorsements.
  • Strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and confidence working to deadlines.
  • Proven experience leading crews and communicating clearly with team members and suppliers.
  • A strong commitment to safety, quality, reliability, respect, and being part of an efficient team.
