
Civil Foreman
Our client, a reputable civil construction contractor operating across the Lower Mainland, is seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to lead field crews on infrastructure and underground utility projects.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for coordinating daily site activities and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
• Lead civil construction crews across earthworks, excavation, utilities, and site servicing projects
• Plan and coordinate daily site activities to meet production targets
• Supervise labour, operators, and subcontractors
• Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and work plans
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and site logistics
• Identify and resolve field issues and scheduling conflicts
• Maintain productivity, quality, and safe work practices
• Conduct toolbox talks and support site safety compliance
• Provide daily updates on progress, manpower, and equipment
Requirements
• 5+ years’ experience in civil construction with Foreman or supervisory experience
• Strong knowledge of civil construction methods and sequencing
• Experience with earthworks, underground utilities, excavation, or ground improvement projects
• Ability to read civil drawings and plans
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Practical, hands-on problem-solving ability
• Valid driver’s licence with ability to travel to project sites
Work Environment
• Full-time, field-based role
• Projects located throughout the Lower Mainland
• Extended hours may be required depending on project schedules
