We are seeking an experienced Civil Foreman to oversee and coordinate civil and structural works at the project site. The Civil Foreman will supervise site activities, manage manpower, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and support the site engineer in executing construction tasks according to project specifications and schedules.
Supervise and coordinate daily civil and structural construction activities on-site.
Assign tasks to masons, carpenters, steel fixers, and laborers, ensuring proper execution of work.
Ensure work is carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.
Monitor work progress and report daily updates to the Site Engineer / Construction Manager.
Check the quality of materials and workmanship, ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Read and interpret construction drawings and layouts to guide the workforce effectively.
Ensure proper housekeeping, material storage, and site organization.
Coordinate with other trades (mechanical, electrical, etc.) to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth workflow.
Identify and report any technical or safety issues immediately to the supervisor.
Conduct toolbox talks and ensure workers follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures at all times.
Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Civil Foreman in construction, infrastructure, or oil & gas projects.
Strong knowledge of concrete works, formwork, rebar fixing, finishing, and earthworks.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and project specifications.
Familiarity with QA/QC standards and site safety regulations.
Good leadership and communication skills with a focus on productivity and quality.
Must be physically fit and capable of supervising field activities.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent understanding of civil construction techniques and procedures.
Good planning, coordination, and problem-solving abilities.
Commitment to safety, quality, and timely project delivery.
Effective communication and reporting skills.
