PCL Contracting Ltd is a Wellington Region civil contracting company specialising in roading, drainage, subdivisions, earthworks, and siteworks. With yards in Porirua and Waingawa, Wairarapa, we've spent the last decade building a team culture we're genuinely proud of — hardworking, grounded, and good fun.
We're growing our Wairarapa team and looking for an experienced operator who's the right fit — because our people are the most important part of what we do.
The Role
Based out of our Waingawa yard, you'll be operating excavators across a range of civil projects with a focus on road pavement preparation, drainage, and excavation works. You'll also be hands-on with ground duties when needed and play a key role in keeping the job running smoothly.
We generally work Monday to Friday, 7am–5pm, with occasional Saturdays and after-hours work when the project demands it.
