Civil Engineering Specialist

MISSION

To deliver optimized, compliant, and sustainable civil engineering solutions for buildings and infrastructure, by applying advanced technical expertise, critical evaluation, and value engineering principles, ensuring achievement of cost, quality, safety, and timeline objectives within defined organizational standards and project scope.

KEY EXPECTED ACHIEVEMENTS

• Lead civil engineering studies, design reviews, and technical validations.
• Develop and approve technical specifications and engineering standards.
• Drive project performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
• Evaluate and validate contractors, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Act as Michelin Lanka's Civil Engineering Referent and technical expert across all civil engineering projects.

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Chartered Engineer status will be a distinct advantage.
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience, including exposure to industrial civil construction projects.
• Strong expertise in structural engineering, industrial buildings, infrastructure development, BOQ preparation, technical specifications, and contractor management.
• Proven ability to manage complex engineering challenges and deliver value-driven solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in both English & Sinhala.
