Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Support planning, monitoring, and management of urban water supply operations under KUIDFC projects.
  • Review operational performance of water treatment plants, pumping stations, reservoirs, and distribution systems.
  • Monitor water production, transmission, distribution efficiency, and service delivery indicators.
  • Assist in implementation of NRW reduction strategies, water audits, and network performance improvement initiatives.
  • Review operation and maintenance practices and recommend measures for improving system efficiency and reliability.
  • Coordinate with ULBs, contractors, consultants, operators, and project stakeholders.
  • Support asset management, preventive maintenance planning, and operational optimization programs.
  • Assist in preparation and review of technical reports, DPRs, O&M manuals, SOPs, and project documentation.
  • Conduct site inspections and assess operational issues related to water supply infrastructure.
  • Support implementation of SCADA, GIS, smart metering, and other digital utility management systems where applicable.
  • Monitor compliance with project objectives, service standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical support during testing, commissioning, and handover of water supply infrastructure assets.
