The Civil EngineerIis an entrylevel position that is responsible for performing a wide variety ofduties, someofaconfidential nature including, but not limited to, engineer duties in planning,designingandoverseeingconstructionsandmaintenance ofbuilding structures,andfacilities,suchasroads,railroads,airports,bridges, harbors, channels,dams,irrigationprojects,pipelines,power plants,water andsewage systems,and waste disposal units.
The Civil EngineerIworks under direct supervision to perform a varietyof dutiesincluding butnot limited to:
•Assistsenior engineersin a broad rangeofengineeringactivities.
•Performengineering work on variety of infrastructure/public worksprojects.
•Acquire data and prepare reportsandcalculations.
•Assist in the preparation of costestimates.
•Participate in businessdevelopmentand proposal activities.
•Gather and recordinformation to be usedfor writing specifications.
•Prepare technical studiesandreports.
•Willreview andanalyze plans,designsandactivities,and the evaluationof technical datain avariety of engineeringprojects.
•Performother office duties asassigned.
