Job Description

• Review civil and structural engineering designs, calculations, drawings, specifications and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements, applicable standards and design criteria.
• Review civil/structural design packages related to wind power projects, including foundations, reinforced concrete structures, roads, drainage and other associated civil works.
• Manage and coordinate RFIs, technical queries, design clarifications and engineering changes, ensuring technical issues are properly evaluated and resolved.
• Provide engineering support to project sites and develop or coordinate technical solutions for construction-related civil and structural issues.
• Coordinate with designers, Owner’s Engineers (OE), consultants, suppliers, contractors, subcontractors and internal engineering teams on civil engineering matters.
• Review NCRs, construction deviations, repair proposals and corrective engineering solutions, and follow up technical matters through closure.
• Support procurement activities by reviewing technical specifications, material requirements, supplier submissions and technical proposals.
• Provide technical support to contractors and subcontractors, including review and clarification of drawings, method statements, technical submissions and engineering requirements.
• Manage civil engineering interfaces with other disciplines and identify potential design conflicts, constructability issues and technical risks across projects.
• Support technical evaluation of design changes and engineering solutions considering safety, quality, constructability, cost and schedule impact.
• Maintain and follow up on engineering documentation, design changes, technical correspondence and outstanding technical issues.
• Visit project sites as required to conduct technical inspections, investigate engineering issues and support on-site technical resolution.
• Perform other civil engineering and technical support duties assigned by the Civil Manager or Project Manager.
