Key Responsibilties
1. Oversee project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of civil works in line with approved schedules and budgets.
2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Manufacturing, EHS, Procurement, Contractors, and Consultants).
3. Manage contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, safety standards, and statutory requirements.
4. Ensure adherence to EHS norms, quality standards, and company policies at all project sites.
5. Review and approve design drawings, BOQs, method statements, and construction schedules.
6. Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans to ensure timely delivery.
7. Support plant expansion, new line installations, and brownfield/greenfield civil projects.
Qualification & Experience:
1. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering (mandatory).
2. 8–12 years (B8) / 10–15 years (B9) of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
3. Mandatory experience in automotive manufacturing plants (OEM / Tier-1 preferred).
4. Strong exposure to industrial buildings, RCC structures, foundations, utilities, and infrastructure projects.
Key Skills & Competencies:
1. Strong project management and stakeholder coordination skills.
2. Sound knowledge of construction methodologies, quality systems, and EHS practices.
3. Ability to manage multiple contractors and complex project interfaces.
4. Good communication, reporting, and leadership capabilities.
