Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

We are looking for Civil Driver Operators / General Hands to join our growing teams across Central Otago and Queenstown.

This is a hands-on role supporting civil construction and drainage projects. You’ll be working alongside experienced crews, operating machinery where qualified, and helping deliver quality work on site.

Your day-to-day will include:

• Operating civil plant and machinery (where qualified)
• Transporting equipment and materials (Class 4/5 work where required)
• Supporting drainage and civil construction crews on site
• General labouring duties across a range of projects
• Maintaining a strong focus on health, safety, and quality

Ngā pūkenga matua | What we’re looking for

We want reliable, motivated people who are keen to get stuck into civil work and grow their skills.

You’ll ideally have:

• Civil construction experience (preferred but not essential for strong workers)
• Class 4 or 5 New Zealand driver’s licence (highly desirable)
• Full Class 1 for general hands
• Wheels, Tracks & Rollers (WTR) endorsement (preferred)
• Ability to work safely and as part of a team
• A strong work ethic and willingness to learn
