About the role
EIC Activities is now looking across Australia for a Civil Designer to join our team based in Melbourne or Sydney or Brisbane. As part of the team you will provide a competitive advantage for profitable projects that generate value for clients, leverage the CIMIC Group’s collective experience, technical capabilities and leading technologies.
The Civil Designer develops detailed geometry design solutions to support the delivery of projects across the CIMIC Group. The role contributes to developing efficient and cost‑effective civil design solutions, ensuring accuracy, compliance and alignment with project requirements.
Key responsibilities include producing design models complying with project metadata requirements, validation and checks, producing material estimates, and supporting the delivery of high-quality engineering drawings and deliverables to support CIMIC Groups 3D and 4D modelling, construction visualisation and planning services.
In this role you will:
• Deliver Civil Engineering design services across a range of projects and infrastructure types, including traditional transport infrastructure projects (road, rail, aviation, tunnels, active transport) and the Renewable Systems Technology sector
• Support bid and project deliverables, including models, drawings and documentation
• Comply with EIC Activities Safety and Health Management Plan and Quality Manual.
