Te kōwhiringa | The Opportunity

Downer is looking for motivated General All-Rounders to join our Invercargill Construction team. This is a varied, hands-on role supporting civil, construction, and concreting crews across a range of infrastructure projects.

You’ll be involved in a variety of tasks including labouring, site preparation, concreting, and general construction support. If you’re reliable, enjoy physical outdoor work, and want the opportunity to build a long-term career in construction, we’d love to hear from you.

Ngā pūkenga matua | Skills & Experience

• Construction, labouring, concreting, or civil experience preferred
• Experience with concrete placing, finishing, or formwork advantageous
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Full Class 1 licence preferred
• Ability to work well within a team
• Willingness to learn new skills and support the wider crew
• A positive, hardworking attitude
• Reliable and punctual with good work ethic
• Strong commitment to health & safety
• Someone who takes pride in their work
• Eager to learn and grow within the industry
