Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the overall construction and technical management of civil works for data center projects, including foundations, structural works, architectural finishes, external infrastructure, and landscaping.
• Review and verify civil construction drawings, provide technical guidance to engineers and subcontractors, and conduct technical briefings.
• Develop and manage the overall construction schedule, review detailed project schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare, review, and approve method statements, construction plans, and technical proposals for civil works.
• Organize and supervise daily site construction activities, coordinating engineers and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution.
• Monitor project progress, quality, cost, safety (EHS), and compliance with project specifications and contractual requirements.
• Lead the resolution of on-site technical issues and provide practical engineering solutions.
• Coordinate closely with internal departments, project stakeholders, clients, PMC consultants, and subcontractors on technical matters.
• Support the Project Manager in overall project execution and perform other assigned duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in civil construction management, with at least one complete end-to-end civil construction project successfully delivered.
• Proven experience in data center projects, large-scale industrial facilities, manufacturing plants, or industrial park developments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with prefabricated (precast/modular) construction methods will be an added advantage.
• Proficient in project management software such as Microsoft Project and engineering software such as AutoCAD
• Good understanding of construction regulations, codes, and project management practices in Southeast Asia, particularly Malaysia.
• Strong technical knowledge of civil construction, structural works, architectural finishes, and site management.
• Excellent communication, coordination, negotiation, planning, and problem-solving skills.
• Possess relevant professional certifications or intermediate-level engineering qualifications in the construction field.
• Basic English communication skills are required. Proficiency in Malay and overseas data center project experience will be an added advantage.
• Willing to be stationed full-time at project sites in Malaysia.

Salary Range: RM15k - RM22k
