Construction Labourer
Civil Construction, Utility Construction
Vancouver, BC
$24-$34/hour, based on experience

We are looking for a civil Labourer to ensure that work sites are clean, well organized and ensure work crews have everything they need to get the job done.

Job duties:

• Perform physical labour in a variety of different construction projects
• Loading and unloading equipment
• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards
• Loading, unloading and cleanliness of vehicle and equipment
• Operating hand and power tools of all types
• Maintain, clean and basic daily maintenance of equipment and tools
• Will require some hand digging on site when needed
• Reviewing site drawings and confirming site details

Qualifications:

• Previous civil construction environment
• Comfortable around heavy equipment
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to work shift work when needed
• Willing to work in various weather conditions
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation starts at $24 -34 per hour + Extended medical and dental, Pay overtime and Christmas bonuses, Easter and Boxing are paid days off and 5-day sick paid.
