This recruitment will establish an employment list to fill current and any future vacancies within the Sheriff’s Department. The anticipated life of the employment list is six months. Current vacancy is with the Sheriff’s Department located in Visalia. The anticipated life of the list is six months.
Work Schedule for this position: Monday - Friday: 8am - 5pm. No weekends.

Minimum qualifications are used as a guide for establishing the education, training, experience, special skills and/or license which are required and equivalent to the following.
Education: Equivalent to completion of the twelfth 12th grade.
Experience: One (1) year of responsible clerical experience in an office that processes confidential/highly sensitive information AND three (3) months of general clerical bookkeeping.

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge ofLegal forms and terminology; policies and procedures for receiving and filing legal documents in compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
