In this CAD drafting position, you play a vital role in developing small and large-scale commercial, industrial, public works, and parks/recreation projects. Each day, you can be found at your computer drafting site development plans. Paying close attention to detail, you are sure to include the site geometry, utility, erosion and sediment control, grading/drainage plans, and other details to meet client and CEI standards. As you work, you research and review deeds, ordinances, technical reports, and municipal, state, and federal codes to ensure that our plans are in compliance.
By analyzing surveys, field notes, maps, aerial photographs, and other materials, you are able to help identify potential project constraints and the best approach in developing and completing projects on time and on budget. You collaborate with project managers and design staff to provide status updates, discuss challenges, and address plan revisions. When redlines and plan revisions are made, you are sure to apply them in the drawings. You enjoy working on a variety of projects with a great team, and you are proud of the part you play in helping our company thrive!
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D is strongly preferred.
