Our Santiago office is managing a Civil 3D Designer with advanced English skills to collaborate with GHD offices in Canada and the United States on various projects in the field. • Development of supporting project information: This includes 3D CAD modelling, calculations, analysis, evaluations, reports, measurements, drawings, and more.
• Surface modelling
• Design of gravity pipe networks and pressure pipes.
• Surface modelling
• Desirable grading modelling and earthworks design experience.
• Desirable roads, geometric design experience.
• Interpretation and definition of design criteria.
• Guidance in seeking optimal design solutions.
• Reviewing blueprints and making corrections to designs and digital models.
• Preparation of technical design documentation, including plans and compliance with internal and client CAD standards.
• Direct collaboration with personnel in North America and Chile offices.
• Maintaining open communication with team members.

What you will bring to the team:

• Civil Designer, with a technical degree in Design, Surveying Engineering, Civil Construction, or a related field, preferably with 10 or more years of experience.
• 
  Experience in the fields of Engineering, Infrastructure, and Mining, specializing in civil operations and earthworks in general.
• 
  Demonstrable experience in earthwork modeling for mining projects and/or various industries.
• 
  Ability to wait for drawing reviews and corrections to designs and models.
  Ability to work proactively in a team, leading the way toward optimal solutions and making decisions.
• 
  Practical experience using relevant software (Advanced Autodesk Civil 3D, Global Mapper, Recap, etc.).
• Spoken English sufficient for conversation.

  Permit to work in Chile.
