We have an exciting opportunity for a Civic Centre Operations Team Leader to join our Customer and Communications Department.
As our new Civic Centre Operations Team Leader, you will provide hands-on operational support and customer service while leading the day-to-day activities of the Civic Centre Operations Team. You will oversee venue bookings, events and room set-ups, ensuring our facilities and services are delivered safely, professionally, efficiently and with a strong customer focus.
Reporting to the Civic and Customer Operations Lead, you will coordinate team workloads and rosters, provide guidance and support to team members, and act as the first point of escalation for event and operational issues. You will role model great customer service, work in collaboration with Customer Operations colleagues and support service improvements. You will also work closely with Council staff, Mayor and Councillors, venue hirers, contractors, community groups and external guests to ensure the Civic Centre operates effectively.
This is a full-time, permanent role based at Knox Civic Centre. We support flexible working arrangements where operational requirements allow; however, please note that this role is primarily office-based.
This is a Band 5 classified role. Remuneration will start from $83,593.07 (pro-rata for part time) plus superannuation in accordance with the Superannuation Guarantee.
