Bajo supervisión general, realiza instalaciones y extracciones de Sistemas de Levantamiento Artificial (AL), así como inspecciones y solución de problemas. Proporciona instrucción y soporte técnico al personal del cliente sobre el manejo adecuado y los procedimientos operativos de los sistemas de AL. Realiza análisis de producción de pozos y la reparación de equipos de levantamiento artificial, y comprende cómo las condiciones específicas del pozo pueden impactar el desempeño de la bomba. Prueba, empalma y repara cables, y apoya en las operaciones del centro de servicio cuando es necesario. Prepara documentación que incluye reportes IFTA, horas facturables y no facturables, y kilometraje. Capacita y entrena a nuevas contrataciones en principios básicos. Promueve la concientización en seguridad y el cuidado del medio ambiente, y cumple con todos los procedimientos y regulaciones de seguridad y ambientales aplicables. Asegura el cumplimiento de las regulaciones y lineamientos de Salud, Seguridad y Medio Ambiente (HSE). Capacita y guía a técnicos de menor nivel en el sitio del pozo. Se requiere la capacidad de realizar cálculos matemáticos básicos que incluyan suma, resta, multiplicación y división. Se requieren habilidades básicas de comprensión de lectura y redacción.
