We are looking to contract an Owner Operator for the Ottawa location. The ideal candidate will be providing service to a well established customer base.
Responsible for the pickup and delivery of freight within the area, while adhering to standards and requirements as outlined in the contract.
Must prioritize all shipments to make all-time critical commitments
Working in partnership with the dispatcher and dock personnel to ensure all freight is delivered on time
Own a 5 ton truck with tailgate - 2018 or newer
Class AZ / DZ license required.
Ability to complete proper pre/post & inter trips.
Knowledge of ELD (Electronic Logging Devices.)
Knowledge of hours of service.
Knowledge of load securement TDG & WHMIS
Must be able to provide a clean criminal record check, drivers abstract and 2 - 3 work related references.
