Job Description

The Citrix Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and support of Citrix infrastructure within our organization. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of Citrix technologies, excellent troubleshooting skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, deploy, configure, and maintain Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, and related technologies.
• Manage Citrix environments, including provisioning, monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of Citrix solutions with other systems and applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Citrix infrastructure, including user access, performance, and connectivity problems.
• Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends related to Citrix and virtualization.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Citrix engineering and administration.
• In-depth knowledge of Citrix XenApp, XenDesktop, NetScaler, and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of virtualization concepts and technologies (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell for automation and configuration management.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA-V, CCP-V, CCE-V) are highly desirable.
