Citi Private Bank is looking for a Senior Private Banker to lead client acquisition and relationship management for ultra high net worth individuals, delivering tailored financial strategies across lending, investment management, and wealth planning. In this role, you will serve as a senior trusted advisor to some of the world's most sophisticated clients, drawing on the full breadth of Citi's global capabilities to address complex financial needs. This is a high-impact position at the intersection of relationship excellence and financial expertise, where your ability to build lasting client partnerships directly shapes business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and convert ultra high net worth prospects into long-term Citi Private Bank clients, building a pipeline through referral networks and strategic outreach.
• Serve as the primary trusted advisor to a portfolio of UHNW clients, delivering personalised guidance across investment management, risk management, lending, and liquidity solutions.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client's financial landscape, anticipating significant life and business events to provide timely, relevant advice.
• Cultivate multi-generational relationships with client families, securing long-term loyalty and expanding wallet share across the Citi Private Bank platform.
• Coordinate specialist teams and product experts to deliver integrated, bespoke financial solutions that address each client's evolving needs.
• Drive new business by establishing and nurturing a referral network, converting introductions into active client relationships and revenue growth.
• Uphold the highest standards of regulatory compliance and risk management, ensuring all client activity aligns with applicable policies and control frameworks.
• Mentor and support team members, sharing expertise and aligning complementary skills to enhance collective client effectiveness and team performance.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 15 or more years of experience in private banking or wealth management, with a clear focus on ultra high net worth client segments.
• Demonstrated ability to originate and grow client relationships through consultative, relationship-led sales, with a measurable track record of business development success.
• Deep knowledge of private banking products and services, including investment management, lending, mortgages, and financing solutions.
• Ability to assess and communicate complex investment risk and financial strategy in a clear, client-appropriate manner.
• Experience leading or collaborating within client-facing teams, with the ability to align specialist expertise to deliver cohesive client outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent university-level education.

Beneficial Skills & Qualifications

• Master's degree or postgraduate qualification in finance, business, or a related field.
• Established network within the UHNW or family office ecosystem, with the ability to leverage existing relationships to generate immediate business opportunities.
• Familiarity with the broader Citi product suite and the ability to connect clients to relevant capabilities across the global network.
