The Commercial Associate role is an entry level position at Citi, the Associate receives a foundation of knowledge and training required to contribute as a valuable resource in Citi. Associates receive real-world work and add value to their teams during their time at Citi. Assignments focus on attaining core competencies in any of the following:
Responsibilities:
Company Research and Industry Analysis
Analyzing Financial Data and Financial Modeling
Interacting with Several Partners
Project Coordination
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
2+ years related work experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint are second nature.
Credit knowledge is desirable.
Obtain Series 63 and 79 licenses, and pass SIE, within 150 days of joining.
Education:
Bachelor's/University degree is required
