WHAT YOU’LL DO:
As a Cisco Brand Specialist, you will be 100% dedicated to all things Cisco, reporting through the Partner Alliance organization. This role will have responsibility across all areas of MGT and will work collaboratively with Cisco to align on focus areas and technology priorities in line with MGT's objectives. You will play a crucial role in promoting and driving the sales of Cisco products and solutions, as well as driving engagement and investment between Cisco and MGT through working closely with various internal teams to enhance brand awareness, increase market share, and ensure customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
- Product Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of Cisco products and solutions, including Collaboration, wireless networking, network management, security, AI and Data Center
- Brand Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute campaigns that enhance Cisco brand awareness and drive demand generation.
- Sales Support: Work with the sales team to help enable and support customer presentations and promote customized solutions that meet client needs.
- Market Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for Cisco product growth and development.
- Channel Development: Build and maintain strong relationships with Cisco channel personnel, our Cisco distributor, and internal MGT stakeholders to drive Cisco awareness and sales.
- Cross-functional Collaboration:
- TSG (Technology Organization): Focus on driving awareness and go-to-market (GTM) campaigns for Cisco across Cira, AMS.NET, Ednetics and Layer 3, encompassing all Cisco technology areas.
- SIS (Social Impact Organization): Support the SIS group by driving awareness and education on the Cisco technology stack, assisting them in transitioning to recommending technology solutions and coordinating with TSG as needed.
- Marketing: Work closely with the marketing team to develop demand generation plans and ensure Cisco is featured prominently in relevant marketing activities.
- Finance: Collaborate with the finance team to optimize the use of partner investments, ensuring alignment with MGT priorities.
- Event Coordination: Plan and participate in industry events, webinars, and trade shows to promote Cisco solutions and engage with potential customers.
- Reporting & Feedback: Provide regular updates to management on market conditions, sales performance, and customer feedback to inform product development and marketing strategies.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- One (1) or more years of experience in brand management, product marketing, or a sales role within the technology industry, preferably with experience in networking and cybersecurity solutions.
- Strong understanding of networking technologies, collaboration, wireless solutions, and security; Cisco experience is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and compelling manner.
- Ability to analyze market data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to drive brand strategy and product positioning.
- Proven experience building and maintaining relationships with partners, distributors, and customers.
- Prior technology brand management and/or sales experience preferred.
- Experience working with a diverse range of clients and partners in a B2B environment preferred.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and platforms.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer meetings, events, and training.
