Job Description

Digital-IP team is looking for a CAD/Methodology Engineer for custom circuit design. In this role you will develop and maintain design methodologies, flows for high-performance low-power circuit design, contribute to NVIDIA's state-of-the-art products. This role needs both knowledge of full custom circuit design and strong programming capability. What you’ll be doing:

• Develop design methodologies, tools, and flows for custom circuit design and verification

• Support full custom design flow from schematic to GDS

• Internal CAD tool development, EDA tools integration, for simulation and physical verification

• maintain custom circuit design environment and tools

What we need to see:

• BS or above in EE, CS, or a related field, or equivalent experience

• 2+ years of practical/industry experience

• Strong programming skills; experience with Perl, Shell, Tcl, or Python preferred

• Solid understanding of deep submicron CMOS processes and devices

• Familiarity with circuit design tools and custom design flows

• Strong team player with effective written and verbal communication skills

• Able to learn quickly and work independently

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

• Experience with flow automation

• Experience with physical verification tools (e.g., ICV, Calibre)

• Knowledge of VXL, PCELL, CDF, SKILL language, or netlisting
