• We are looking for a Sr. Associate, Technology Advisory to join this team! As a Technology Advisory Senior Associate at RSM, you will work with businesses in diverse industries and receive hands-on client experience with direct access to executive management. You will work on numerous projects per year, managing several pieces of assignments, not just one small part, and you will feel a great sense of accomplishment when you are done! You will also work in a mutually respectful team environment which will help you perform at your best and advance your career and professional capabilities.Responsibilities• Help clients with their digital transformation journeys including digital strategy development,digital assessments, roadmap development and advising on emerging technologies• Advising CIOs on optimizing IT departments and IT capabilities within client organizations• Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users• Perform technology assessments and software selections• Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions • Prioritize initiatives based on business needs and requirements• Update, implement and maintain procedures• Work closely with clients and subject matter experts• Participate in projects, develop project plans, and monitor performance• Provide leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to junior staff• Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce applicablereports• Network internally and externally to develop sales opportunities• Provide analysis, development and documentation of improvement opportunities• Facilitate user workshops to gather and document business needs, requirements, weaknesses and challenges • Continuously learn to better understand RSM's scope of services, with the intent to enhance value to the client through integration of services • Aspire to career growth by assuming more active roles in technology assessments over time, as knowledge and experience progress • Stay up to date on the latest process and digital/IT advancements to automate and modernize systems and regulations • Effectively document and communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management • Perform user acceptance testingBasic Qualifications• 2-5 years’ experience in management consulting, business analyst, digital transformationand/or software management roles, preferably working in a platform agnostic environment• Knowledge of ERP, CRM, CPM and/or other enterprise platforms• Previous consulting experience, advising on digital adoption automation and efficiencies• Previous experience with implementing technologies and migrating clients to SaaS/cloud environments. • Knowledge of enterprise architecture concepts across all domains• Basic understanding of IT application lifecycle, general IT controls and methods• Experience in developing Target Operating Models for clients• Strong communication skills and executive presence• Highly self-motivated• Critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to apply theoreticalconcepts and best practices to solve business problems• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills• Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% throughout North America• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations• Ability to anticipate and address client concerns and issues• Demonstrated work ethic and ability to work effectively with people at all levels• Ability to break complex issues into project steps and problem solve• Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) or Business Information Systems (BIS) • Strong experience with various software solutions including PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Visio, and Smartsheet • Strong data manipulation skills utilizing Excel• Database knowledge (Microsoft SQL, and/or Access)• Previous experience with operational process reviews and basic internal control requirements Preferred Qualifications• Certifications such as COBIT, ITIL, PMP, TOGAF• Experience in PE and/or M&A transactions• Exposure to a key industry such as Industrials, Consumer Products, Public Sector, NonProfit, Life Sciences, Financial Services, Private Equity, Business and Professional Services, Telemedia and Technology
